Athem going to Miami not CocoCay

Recommended Posts

I know everyone has their priorities and plans made, looking forward to what they booked.

I have been on 45 + cruises on all the major cruise lines in the last 20 years. I am not faithful to any one.

I choose for the ship more than the destination. Some ports I have been to numerous times, like Falmouth, Ocho Rios, Nassau, that I do not care for and just stay on the ship and enjoy the quiet time, getting to use the water slides continuously without lines.

There is going to be no perfect cruise for a lot of people, but changes happen and just have to accept and enjoy your beautiful cruise vacation.

I personally think Miami (as a Florida resident) has lots more to see and do, as Cape Canaveral is really more of a departure port, nothing there.. Unless you do the space centers, Disney is too far and crowded to even think about going in the time frame your docked.

There are beaches, just like Miami.

I understand the frustration when things are delayed, but the pier must be finished, sand dredging must happen to allow the Oasis size ships in along with the foot bridge to get everyone on where tender boats used to travel.

I liked Coco Cay just as it was before the construction.

A private island to relax.

Do not understand why you need waterslides, pools, etc when all that is already on most cruise ships. Just enjoy the nature, eat, drink, swim in the ocean.

This is all free, Royal will charge you for almost everything once it’s completed.

Expecially at a cost of 200 million dollars.

Cheers, enjoy life...enjoy your cruise!
