I'm not on Facebook, IL;  I depend on this forum for all MSC news (other than my own onboard experiences).  Good on you for posting it on here.  What I find interesting is that the prices are being quoted in Sterling, which leads me to believe that they're available for pre-purchase.  They're not showing as available on my booking (but I'm booked in Germany - don't know if that's the reason).

This season is going to be an interesting one when the reviews for Med cruises start coming.  Apart from the new drinks packages, there's also the drinks prices increase (which I'll be interested in seeing) and what, if anything has been removed to the Connoisseurs' Selection - and what's left for the lower-priced packages LOL.

I'll try and keep an eye out for the Specialist packages that you've mentioned when we're onboard (though it'll be late into the season and, as we'll be in YC, we won't be brought through the area where the various packages are being sold).

There were a couple of cruises where we didn't upgrade to the Deluxe and I bought a wine package instead (DH usually only drinks draught Heineken when onboard, so it can be a bit of waste to upgrade.  We do it for the better wines that I like).  It's good to see that theses packages are available for those who don't drink enough (or at all) to warrant buying the all-inclusive packages.

So they uncomplicate the alcohol drink packages by only having three of them and then re complicate them !

I saw this on FB also.
