Carnival Magic: Pool Table

Hey all! I will be cruising with the wife and some friends on the May 11th Magic. I've been told there is a pool table in the Sports area, and can definitely see myself shooting a few racks on the sea days especially. One thing I can't find anywhere in prior posts is whether this is a "pay-to-play" table, or if it is a simple drop-pocket design. Thanks in advance!

There is no sports bar by name, all of that is in the Red Frog pub area.  On Promenade deck, entrance also from the Ocean Plaza.  From pictures I am finding, I don't think it is a pool table.  EM

If present, it would be free.

The area you are looking for is Sports Square on Deck 11 and yes, there are two pool tables that are free to play. There is also ping pong and foosball. Just be sure to wear sunscreen up there, as it gets full sun and there is no shade (I'm speaking from experience here!).

The games in the Red Frog Pub are foosball, the wooden table with the sliding stones (I cannot remember what that is called, but it is sort of like shuffleboard, but on a table), and the ring toss towers (where you swing a ring attached to a string and try and get it to stay on a hook). All are free.
