Shade on the Edge?

Hi all!

 

We love being outside on a cruise ship, reading, relaxing and gathering some sun.

However, our skin dont like sun all day that‘s why our favorite spot on S-Class is one deck above the pool deck whith the big  awnings above the sun chairs providing shade. 

 

From what I have seen and read, Edge doesnt have such awnings. 

I therefor wonder where you can be outside on the ship but not burning all day long?

There are a few (maybe 20 or so) loungers in the shade.

Unipac, check out post 17 of this thread, there is also shaded sitting area outside Eden on the port side.:

There are also a lot of loungers in the shade on the starboard side approaching the entrance to the Rooftop Garden.  I was surprised by the amount of shaded seating there was on the Edge.  But, not so much at the Retreat.

Once you know where, there are quiet a few spots. Better than it seemed to be!
