The “common folks” living on Paradise Island

And around Paradise Island

Pro Tip: if you are taking a sightseeing cruise in Nassau (could be a transfer to the Blue Lagoon or to snorkeling) sit on the PORT (left) side of the boat for the best sightseeing.

It’s a beautiful day at sea. If you want to avoid the crowds and loud music on the pool deck, Deck 19 Forward provides a lot of wonderful loungers that wrap to the bow of the ship, providing amazing views. The area has two large hot tubs cantilevered over the side of the ship. There is also a bar for that perfect Caribbean drink.

What did they do to that lobster!!!!  It's cut in half!  That's no way to eat a Maine lobster.  Good grief.  So wrong...

Well,,, we like our lobster grilled (not steamed) and you need to half it for grilling. (We are obviously not from New England,,,, sorry to offend).

You just gave away my favorite (secret) spot. Lol!

I had read about this area before my Escape cruise last July and it is a great area to hang out on sea days.

It's right outside of Vibe and, as you said, there are whirlpools and, most importantly, a bar!

There's also a misting machine that people can walk into and it sprays cool water every minute or so. It's somewhat refreshing if you don't want to make the 60 second walk down to the pool area.

This spot on deck 19 is never too crowded so finding loungers is pretty easy at anytime. There's also some comfy chairs by the bar, right outside the door to Vibe.

I'm sailing Encore in January and hopefully the area will be similar, even with some things being moved around.

Thanks for the review!

Honestly, I've never had it grilled.  Always either boiled or steamed. It's how we do it up here.  Since I'll never spend $25 on a 1.25 lbs lobster, guess it will be a long time 'til I try it grilled.  (ETA: I totally understand that is a typical price for lobster elsewhere and know I'm spoiled when it comes to lobster pricing due to where I live.)

Thanks again for the pictures and the play by play of your cruise.

Hello. Hope the cruise is going great for you. If you get a chance could you post the Day 6 daily please. Had heard that some shows are repeated in the theatre on two nights but have not seen any repeats yet in the dailies you posted. Thanks again.
