Enjoying the pictures. Escape is my favorite ship (so far)

Our score on GSC is 1/12. Not seen it in  a long time.

Is there any mention if the Escape's "dream team" will move over on  the Bliss when she gets to NYC?

Out for a walk on the Waterfront in the morning? You can get a cup of coffee and a pastry at the 5 O’clock Sonewhere bar (also at the Mix bar on Deck 6)

My Favorite Morning Spot to grab a coffee and enjoy the sounds of the sea and sunrise.

Loving your live review and pics!  Amazing.

From many reports here, NCL raised the Platinum dinner entree from $20 to $25  value.  As a frequent and valuable CC poster, you may have known this and it certainly looks like you had a wonderful Platinum dinner in Cagney's.

Any reason given for using the "old" vouchers which only leads to confusion and frustration for guests?  Some of the entrees now exceed $25 but even more are now over $20 at Cagney's but also quite a few at Le Bistro and La Cucina.

Thanks again for your insights and all the info.  We enjoyed Escape as well when she was in Miami.  Lucky us, NCL has done a great job bringing various ships to NYC.  Hope the rest of your cruise is fantastic!

So the voucher that we got was for 1-1-1 under $20. We ordered 2-1-1 over $20 (total over $90) and the waiter comped the whole meal towards latitudes.

Morning coffee and the ocean is the best

Other than the Buffet, coffee on deck include the Deck 18 Wave Bar (smoking area),  5 O’Clock Somewhere Bar on the Waterfront, and Cellars Wine Bar on the Waterfront. And the Mixx Bar between Taste and Savor.

Don’t like the music and crowds at the pool, the Waterfront provides a peaceful place to relax or walk around the ship. Restaurant seating (used for dinner) provide seats with tables. Or, comfy sofas and chairs line the walkway.

I think Food Republic has lobster rolls.

No, they definitely do not have lobster rolls.    I just got off the Escape Sunday.  I went into Food Republic and specifically asked.  Just to make sure, we asked to see the menu as well.  They said they took lobster rolls off the menu two months ago on the Escape.

I do miss early mornings on the Escape. I did coffee after the gym every morning around 7am either by the 5'Oclock Somewhere bar or Margaritaville and both had great views. The Waterfront was a ghost town at those times.

The Wave pool bar was great for us on sea days to get drinks as we would get loungers about 30 feet away overlooking the pool and it was quick and easy to get drinks as people tended to avoid the smoking. I would just go and get drinks quickly for my people and the smoke never affected me.

When we were on the Dawn a month ago, we were told the limit was $25 for our Platinum meals. We were never charged for anything we ordered (we always have OBC, so we just order at will and are okay if we are charged).

Found the same to be true on my sailing a few weeks ago.  Just dropped the Platinum coupon on them and everything was comped.  I asked the manager before ordering (who had come to check up on me for some reason) about the “limits”.  He told me not to worry about any limits.  He was right.

Did you do the excursion to Kennedy Space Center through NCL? We're trying to decide whether to go that route or fly solo. Those pictures look pretty promising...

Pro Tip: when you take the Bus tour of the facility, always sit on the RIGHT side of the bus for the best sightseeing.
