Lisalk12 Posted April 9, 2019 Author #26 Share Posted April 9, 2019 Big boys went up on the pool deck and it was freezing (40’s but to us that’s cold)! One of the reasons we will probably only sail out of NYC in the summer from now on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lisalk12 Posted April 9, 2019 Author #29 Share Posted April 9, 2019 And then I saw this!! Cabana upgrade!?!?! Yes!!! Now all we had to do is actually get to the island. I hear it is about 50/50 if she can tender. I’ve been very lucky and had always managed to have great weather. So fingers crossed!! Lisalk12 Posted April 9, 2019 Author #31 Share Posted April 9, 2019 After nap we went up to the atrium and played Uno while we had drinks and played along with trivia games. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lisalk12 Posted April 9, 2019 Author #32 Share Posted April 9, 2019 We loved listening to JR he is amazing! We took turns walking floors 5,6,&7 just to see what was around and give everyone some time to burn energy. I found most of the bars to be very busy. The fastest place that I found to get a drink was the buffet bar. But they had limited ingredients so usually I had wine or Bahama Mamas from there. Lisalk12 Posted April 9, 2019 Author #34 Share Posted April 9, 2019 After dinner I and the two youngest went back the room and my 17 year old and husband went to Headliners Comedy (this is suggested 18+ for adult material). They enjoyed it! My husband spend the rest of the evening at the casino. More on the aftermath of that night tomorrow! Lisalk12 Posted April 10, 2019 Author #36 Share Posted April 10, 2019 Monday- Sea Day So I woke up to baby up and smiley and everyone else dead to the world. So I had texted hubby to put the room service door hanger out when he came in from the casino. However, it seems he stayed out until after 4am so we had no room service preordered. So letting everyone else sleep, baby and I went up three floors to O’Sheehans. We got seated right away at a huge table looking overlooking the water. I ordered a scrabbles egg for baby and I had the items that would be GF DF from the Country Platter. Love that they always bring me compliant bread when they bring bread items to the table. It was a wonderful spot to eat, have coffee and enjoy the viewSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lisalk12 Posted April 10, 2019 Author #37 Share Posted April 10, 2019 The Guppy attendants were in the atrium dancing with other little ones. We didn’t make it in time to dance but they sure looked like they were having a great time. After breakfast I headed back to room. I wanted to wake everyone up and get ready for the CC Meet & Greet. I LOVE going to these and had been talking to our roll call for months. The group was the largest I had ever saw. We had decided to exchange magnets from our hometowns. Lisalk12 Posted April 10, 2019 Author #38 Share Posted April 10, 2019 My husband was really feeling last night. On our group someone had said they had ordered a product called Flyby hangover meds from Amazon. My husband ordered some to try. So first thing he did was pop three of the vitamins then opened the bottle of liquid thinking it was water. He took a big drink and realized It was not.... if he was feeling bad before he was REALLY feeling bad now. Tasting it I was reminded of salt water. Reading the instructions (imagine that) I told him that he should of used a few drops in 32 ounces of water. My husband was down for the count at that point. Lisalk12 Posted April 10, 2019 Author #39 Share Posted April 10, 2019 So at 12:00 we finally got him and big boys to the Garden Cafe to eat something and drink lots of water. I took baby to the meet and greet that was at the Brewhouse. Walking in it was packed. Waiters were walking around with food and drink samples. It was very busy and loud. Baby wasn’t having any of it. Sadly I put my magnets on a table and we walked out. I know they had a great time and if I had a couple more hands it would of been doable. Lisalk12 Posted April 10, 2019 Author #40 Share Posted April 10, 2019 My husband felt better after a little food and we left the baby napping with the big boys to attend the 1:00 CC slot pull and I enjoyed a few drinks (Margarita &Mango meltdown) We had almost 80 show up for the fun and split between two machines. We didn’t hit a huge jackpot but did manage to break even. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lisalk12 Posted April 10, 2019 Author #41 Share Posted April 10, 2019 My husband thought he needed to rest and relax in the Thermal Spa so he headed that way while I checked on the kids. After babies nap I decided I was coming to be a big girl and take him to the nursery. I stopped at the check in point and got the pager and let them know I would be at the shops and could be back quickly if he needed me. I ended up sitting on the waterfront (which is peaceful and perfect place to sit and read) crying and watching the pager until it was time to pick him up. They give you a print out of what and how they did. He cried a few times which made me feel extremely guilty. But at least we tried. Lisalk12 Posted April 10, 2019 Author #45 Share Posted April 10, 2019 When we were finished we walked the boat. On such a large boat it felt like we hadn’t even been to all the sights. I found a GF beer at the brew house and it wasn’t bad. It had been s long day and we needed some sleep so it was early to bed for us. But this time I did put out the room service hanger!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lisalk12 Posted April 10, 2019 Author #48 Share Posted April 10, 2019 Hi there really enjoying your imformative review. We arnt cruising until next year but like to know about safe food options well in advance. My agent has noted that I need gluten free, but just wondering are gf options easy to find or did you preorder every night?GF options are noted on the dining room menus. So pretty easy to find. Preordering allowed me to make choices that could be made in a GF DF kitchen and opened up the entire menu to me. For GF they offer desserts like flourless cake, muffins, and even have waffles. Your sail card will have a flag when swiped to let servers know and they always ask who at the table has a food allergy. And letting the ship know ahead of time allows them to stock enough GF options for those on that voyage. I did notice the buffet had a couple of signs that you could ask for GF options but I’ve never tried this... just to much risk for me. We cruise because I love the “food freedom” it gives me. I wish you the best in your cruise! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I do hope they note it on my cruise card. Love cruising for the food freedom as well, people don't get that unless they are in the same boat as well😃
Lisalk12 Posted April 11, 2019 Author #50 Share Posted April 11, 2019 Tuesday - Port CanaveralRoom service was scheduled from 8:00-8:30. Ours was delivered promptly at 8:30. I was up and ready but everyone else was sound asleep. I really hadn’t thought it through ... but food arriving and lights turning on seemed to wake everyone else up. Oh well! Fruit and coffee for me. Pastries, cereal, and yogurt for everyone else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
