Watersocks on waterslides?

I know you can't use water socks on flowrider.

 

But what about waterslides?  This is first cruise on a royal ship with waterslides.  Years ago, when we sailed Disney, the kids and DH were allowed to use watersocks on the Aquaduck.  Neither kid likes walking around in bare feet, but I want to check first if water socks are allowed before I buy them.

On Navigator there is a set of cubby holes at the entrance to the staircase to store stuff.  Didn't see any socks on people but didn't ask either. The only things they were enforcing was weight limit for two people on one tube and glasses had to have a strap.  Stairs had a lot of shade but were still pretty hot to stand on.  Tube slide operated a lot on 9 day and was closed for most of 5 day.  Obviously working out the bugs.

Anyplace we have ever used water slides will not let you wear anything on your feet if you are not in a raft or tube as the rubber on the sole could cause your foot to get stuck and cause an injury.  Aquaduck has a float you sit in if I am remembering correctly, so something on your feet would not be a problem.

Same thing on Adventure - no water shoes on the slides.    Small area before the steps where you leave your shoes.
