Taxi cost from port to Atlantis

I just can not find a recent price for the cost of a taxi from the Nassau cruise port to Atlantis.  I have found rates that are several years old, but nothing fairly recent.  We are a party of three.  THANKS SO MUCH!

About $4 pp, there are vans and they fill them.

It’s a few miles, technically you can, but I believe it’s a busy roadway/bridge.

And part of the walk is through a not-so-safe section of town...definitely not a tourist section.

When returning from Atlantis, you may need to take a union cab.  The rate is $13 for the first 2 ppl.  $4 for each add'l person.

 

Shuttles may, or may not be available for your return trip.

Thank you for this!  It says there are taxi stands are most large hotels - do you know if there is one at the Nassau Downtown Hilton?  Also, it says the vehicle should display the "Bahama Host" sticker in the window - which window would that be displayed in?

All the taxis at hotels, including the Hilton, will be trained by Bahama Host.  I've never seen a sticker, but have seen a card hanging by the mirror along with their license.

When you get off the ship, you'll see a lot of hawkers.  They are trying to shuffle you to either a van or to the ferry.  Both are a fixed price of like $4pp.  When the van or ferry is full, then it'll go.  They will fill pretty quickly in the mornings.

 

The ferry will require you to walk through the marina portion of Atlantis, which is fun in itself.  The van will take you to the front door of the hotel.  if Atlantis is the central destination, and you just want to walk around, I'd suggest taking the ferry there, and then a taxi back.  You can go out the front door of the hotel and just jump in a van that is dropping people off.  They are probably going back downtown to the port area anyway.
