CruiseFamilyx1215 Posted April 22, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 22, 2019 I'm checking me and my family into our July 20th cruise... I have all our info entered except for our airline details. When I try to enter that I get an error message saying "Flight arrival date and departure date cannot be in ship sailing period." Our flight comes into Miami on the 19th so we are good there - our flight leaves Miami to go home on Saturday, July 27th at 9:30 at night... yes this is the last day of the sailing period but its 12 hours after we dock. Is anyone else having this issue? What am I doing wrong?? Can I call and do the check-in over the phone? thanks in advance for any help you can offer! klfrodo Posted April 22, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 22, 2019 Just don't put the flight information in. Make it think your driving in.
beshears Posted April 22, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 22, 2019 I believe I encountered a problem like or similiar to that when I was on Carnival's website. I felt like I needed to put something there, but wasn't for sure. I called Carnival and a rep took care of everything for me, so I never had to worry about putting in, or leaving anything off in that area, as well as a couple other areas. teknoge3k Posted April 22, 2019 #4 Share Posted April 22, 2019 I don't believe I've ever put my flight information in when checking in. It has no relationship to Carnival so I feel it's irrelevant information for them to know.
