Canceling a Casino Comp Cruise

Has anyone here ever booked a free casino cruise (except taxes and port charges), and canceled?  Did you get your taxes and port charges back?   I have several booked, and do not plan on canceling, but a friend asked me what would happen if I did, and I have no idea.  It just got me wondering.

I just canceled a comped cruise for Nov and got taxes and port fees refunded to my card in 2 days. The agent also tried everything he could to figure out a way to get me on a different cruise.  It was a jr suite Comp and he could tell I was not happy about canceling, but the offer had expired.

Stupid wedding.

Just some info for those that don’t know, you can combine kids sale free with the prime free cruise for 2. Just booked that yesterday.

You will get a refund of all taxes and fees for any cruise that gets cancelled, comped or not.

Another tidbit is that "dollars off" casino offers *can* be combined with the Crown & Anchor balcony discount.
