I have read that some of these rooms do not have a roof and may be open to the deck above?  Does anyone have a photo showing this?  In particular Room #12219?  Thank you!  This is our first time on a Carnival Ship

My husband and I had that exact cabin at the beginning of April. Honestly we didn't spend that much time on the balcony but I never felt like people were peering down at us...I don't think too many people look over the railing down at the cabins from the serenity deck. In general  the cabin was a great location...such easy access to spa!  A couple of minor late night noise issues but maybe that won't be an issue for you. Enjoy!
