dannywads Posted April 24, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 24, 2019 I have read that some of these rooms do not have a roof and may be open to the deck above? Does anyone have a photo showing this? In particular Room #12219? Thank you! This is our first time on a Carnival Ship
Butterbean1000 Posted April 24, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 24, 2019 (edited) Spa staterooms on 12 do not have covered balconies. However, the spa staterooms on 11 do have covered balconies. Edited April 24, 2019 by Butterbean1000
dannywads Posted April 24, 2019 Author #3 Share Posted April 24, 2019 So people on the decks above can see down into the balconies on deck 12?
coevan Posted April 25, 2019 #4 Share Posted April 25, 2019 I don't remember anyone above us as the Spa balconies are all the way forward.

pinto18 Posted April 25, 2019 #6 Share Posted April 25, 2019 My husband and I had that exact cabin at the beginning of April. Honestly we didn't spend that much time on the balcony but I never felt like people were peering down at us...I don't think too many people look over the railing down at the cabins from the serenity deck. In general the cabin was a great location...such easy access to spa! A couple of minor late night noise issues but maybe that won't be an issue for you. Enjoy!
