coldinerie Posted April 27, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2019 Can anyone tell me if the staff sing and dance in the main dining room/anytime dining area during the dinner hours? I don't know what to call it, but they run around the room singing and the ship plays music in the entire dining room. We are traveling with an individual who has auditory processing issues and want to minimize the impact of this event. If this does occur, does it happen nightly? We are on the Indy out of the UK if that matters. Thank you.
Clarea Posted April 27, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2019 I would plan to expect the loud music, ra ra announcements, and maybe even some walking around the room waving napkins. Talk to the headwaiter as you arrive and ask them the plans for the evening. You may be able to schedule your dinner between demonstrations, or even go elsewhere that evening. Stokie33 Posted April 27, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2019 On our sailing last Aug on a 14 night cruise I think there was something on the last 2 nights, like host clarea said the maitre'd is always walking around so mention it to them early on in your cruise and they will be able to advise you
lcpagejr Posted April 27, 2019 #4 Share Posted April 27, 2019 We had late seating on 4/13-4/21 Adventure of Seas Cruise and they only sung/marched around 2 out of the 8 dinners....We appreciated that since we've been on cruises where it occurred 4/5x on a 7 night cruise!! ....And It was usually about 1 hour into our dinner....so depending when you eat.... you probably could catch it whether it be from early or late seatings
