parrja Posted April 27, 2019 #1 Share Posted April 27, 2019 Booking this weekend......any advantage for the cabin to be on one side or the other?
miranco Posted April 27, 2019 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2019 We sailed from NYC on NCL & had a Port side balcony cabin. On the port side you pass St George, see the lighthouse & land as the ship proceeds to the Royal Navy Dockyard. Once docked it does not matter if you are port or starboard as you can see land on either side.
ipeeinthepool Posted April 27, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 27, 2019 Always take starboard side unless there is a must do sail in/away. Starboard is the non-smoking side. The outdoor smoking areas on the lifeboat deck are on the port side.

This applies to all cruise lines.
