I wanted to book through royal Caribbean but they only had 4 spots left but there is 5 in our party. Has anyone booked through an outside tour company or coral world itself? I really want to do this and so bummed its already sold out through the cruise line. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated!!! Our cruise is Feb 2020. Also wondering would it be safe for us to just take a car there instead of doing the excursion with ride included? Is there normally traffic or anything we would need to be concerned with to get back to boat on time?

I would suggest you book directly thru Coral World’s website if they have spaces available.

 You get the advantage of paying less, deciding when you want to get there and when you want to leave and can visit Coki Beach next door before you taxi back to port.

I booked directly with Coral World.  It was a lot of fun and we got some great photos.

You can easily take a taxi there from the port, and Coral world will call one for you to pick up at the beach next door to get you back, just plan times accordingly.

What is the cost of a taxi from port to Coral World? My daughter and I are going there in December from our cruise ship.

By Taxi: Taking a taxi is the easiest way to get to Coral World. Taxis are readily available at the cruise ship docks, hotels and the downtown shopping district. The taxi fare from the Havensight cruise ship dock and downtown is approximately $9 per person for two or more passengers. The taxi fare from the Crown Bay cruise ship dock is approximately $10 per person for two or more passengers. Rates vary from each hotel depending on its location. The taxi ride from downtown and the cruise ship docks is 20-25 minutes long.

 

 

It is basically adjacent to Coki beach so if you find a taxi taking people to Coki, you're good to go.
