Mind if I ask a few questions about your experience? My buddy and I are sailing on Mariner in July. Where did you eat when you first got on the ship? Was it crowded? Did you prefer MDR or the buffet more? If you drink, which bar did you like the best? What was the demographic like? Lots of kids and families or more mature? What activities did you enjoy the most? We had the UDP so we only did specialty dining so I can't help with those questions My go to drinks are Pina Colada's and Strongbows cider. It had a real mix as far as the demographic. Older, younger and families. There were lots 20 and 30 somethings on this ship.
Paelos Posted May 3, 2019 #7 Share Posted May 3, 2019 We're 30s so that helps. Which Specialty dining would you do if you only got to pick one on that ship?

We had both the UDP and The Key. We had the option of lunch in Chops as part of The Key program, which is a reduced lunch menu, or Jamies as part of the UDP which included their full lunch menu. We opted for Chops as part of The Key because we had Jamies booked for dinner that evening. I had originally hoped for a full lunch menu as part of the UDP but was told that they were only offering the reduced Key menu and that if I wanted to utilized the UDP embarkation lunch I had to go to Jamies.

Thank you. I’m sailing on Navigator at the end of the month and haven’t been able to find anything definitive on that and I can’t seem to make the search function work for me here anymore. Rare Tree_skier Posted May 8, 2019 #19 Share Posted May 8, 2019 Chops was Lobster Bisque to start and 12 oz NY Steak with Grilled Jumbo Asparagus and Mashed Potato's and the sundae for dessert. Izumi was the steak and chicken. I don't remember my order at Jamies.
