Buying bottles of wine

If you buy wine by the bottle (rather than a package), how is it managed? Can you take your half drunk bottle back to the cabin?

You can take it to any part of the ship to continue drinking it and even leave it in the restaurant for a later night.

There's lots of decent wines at reasonable prices including the P&O house wines so we never bother buying a package. You can also buy  glasses of wine for the equivalent price of a bottle

Do they sell sweet sparkling wine? I have only noticed the sparkling wine as being a dry one.

Thanks I will try that. I don't drink much, mostly as I haven't found anything I like, or it's too strong. I have looked that up, it sounds nice.

We have always bought a Wine Package but its really not worth it anymore. I would definitely recommend buying as you go.
