Bath/Cotswalds

Recommended Posts

Need a recommendation for Lodging in Bath. We plan on staying two or three nights. Would like to be within walking distance of sites, restaurants, pubs etc. Close to train station would also be nice. Looking for something along the lines BnB and more authentic British old world feel. Traveling from either Southampton after debarking Cruise and returning to Southampton for our Cruise back  to NYC.

We stayed at The Henry House.  It was quiet, clean and breakfasts were good and close to the train station.  We had no problems walking to all attractions.  Try to catch the Bizarre Bath walk one evening.  It was a lot of fun!

Bath is quite compact; a walking town, so anywhere in the centre will do. We stayed at The Kennard - https://visitbath.co.uk/listings/single/the-kennard/ - but it was a few years ago and it was great. Like most B&Bs there is no lift though.

The competition in Bath, in most of the UK actually, is stiff, so it's hard to go wrong.
