missingyou Posted May 19, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 19, 2019 Scheduled to cruise out of Port Canaveral Feb 24th 2020 on RCI Mariner of The Seas - How much does it cost to park at the port? Also considering a hotel with a stay/park/cruise package - any recommendations? Thanks in advance!
Rare SRQbeachgirl Posted May 20, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 20, 2019 We've stayed at the Residence Inn on Astronaut Blvd just down the street from the cruise terminal and can recommend it. They have a park & cruise package and they use a shuttle service to the terminal for a nominal fee.

GTO-Girl Posted May 20, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 20, 2019 Parking at the port is $17 per day and they also charge you for the day you leave...so for example on a 7 day cruise we pay for 8 days. However we still park there as we have a way to drive home and we like the convenience of going straight to our car and leaving. Many hotels in the area have a park and cruise option. The four closest to the port are Country Inn & Suites, Residence Inn, Homewood Suites and Radisson At The Port. The first three all have a complimentary breakfast....the Radisson does not but there is a restaurant on site...or we prefer to walk next door to Zachary’s and have a much cheaper made to order breakfast. All four are within a mile of the port...
missingyou Posted May 20, 2019 Author #5 Share Posted May 20, 2019 Excellent - I am thinking we may just park at port, as we are combining this with a trip to Anna Maria Island as well. Thanks for the hotel list as well.
FredZiffle Posted May 21, 2019 #6 Share Posted May 21, 2019 There are also many off-port parking options that are less than $10/day. My favorite is Lots of Honor, which is the same lot as Park 'N Cruise, but a little cheaper. Free shuttle to/from. Parking there probably adds about 15 minutes or so to your exit time, but I refuse to pay $17/day for parking just to save 15 minutes.
Diver2014 Posted May 21, 2019 #7 Share Posted May 21, 2019 (edited) We park at the ports for security reasons, not to save money. We're from Florida and just don't trust the off site parking. We're staying at the Holiday Inn Resort on Shorewood Drive next January but we're still parking at the port. Nanatravel Posted May 24, 2019 #8 Share Posted May 24, 2019 We just stayed at the Radisson Resort at the Port and had a Park & Stay package. Our cars were perfectly fine even though the lot is not gated. Very quick and easy shuttle service took about 5 minutes from final loading to all of us on the same ship disembarking the bus. Pleasant shuttle drivers. Porters knew exactly where their bus was parked upon return, not wasting time trying to find the right bus. Would do this again in a heart beat. We last used them in October I think. Park 'n Cruise is at the same location and only a dollar or two more. Still much cheaper than parking at the port.
