Hampton Inn Airport North/Cruise Port ?

Hotels in the State Road 84 area are mainly for late arriving flights where you plan to bolt the door and go to sleep as soon as you check in. However as that Hampton is at least east of I-95 there is some life in the neighborhood (rather than the lowlife at the Roadway and Red Carpet west of I-95). There is a McDonald's right in front of the hotel; in the plaza just east is a Wendy's, Dunkin', and a sports bar named Slackers that gets decent reviews.

If you are specifically enamored of Hampton Inn the Airport South/Cruiseport property is in an area with a lot more tourist traffic and thus all the requisite shops and franchise restaurants (casual as well as fast food) are close by. Rates are usually very close but the South property likely does sell out further in advance.

We just stayed there in February.  I believe there was also a Subway and a grocery store in the shopping area across the street.  Of course, Hampton always has a good breakfast.  The hotel itself was typical Hampton.
