Transit bus

DW is wheelchair dependant. I have booked the NCL provided transit bus from Barcelona airport to the ships dock. Question, is the bus ok for wheelchairs. DW can climb bus steps with my help.

it will probably be stashed in the undercarriage along with all the luggage.  you would need to specify/request a HA bus( with a lift in the rear) if she cannot do steps.

The public bus from the airport to downtown Barcelona is accessible and roll right on. I'm not sure if they have public transportation to the port but I would look into it. Barcelona is one of the most accessible cities in Europe.

When we were in Barcelona (disembarkation) on Princess, they provided a wheelchair lift equipped van/cab for our transportation to the airport (Princess transfer), as my mother could not climb the steps for the regular bus. Barcelona has excellent wheelchair accessible transportation as a result of the Paralympics there in the 1990s.

All public transport buses throughout the EU are disabled friendly. They all have ramps to get on. Barcelona is one of the most accessible cities in Europe.
