Humidity Levels in P&O Cabins

We are thinking of booking an around South America cruise on Aurora, but will only be able to afford an inside or outside cabin.  I have had problems a number years ago on Ventura because of a very dry atmosphere in our cabin.  I am asthmatic and found it quite difficult to breathe at times, but we have been on Oceana a few times and not had that problem.

Can I ask if P&O tend to keep their cabins very dry or if my experience on Ventura was a one off.  Any advise from someone who has experience of Aurora would be very useful to me.

Setting the aircon to as neutral a setting as possible (not cold not hot) helps as does leaving water in sink or wet towel thrown on floor of shower unit overnight.  Very cold settings mean a much larger volume of air, dry air.
