lindaler Posted June 11, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 11, 2019 I have searched on this forum and in my files and can't seem to find the information I was looking for. At one time many years ago I had a sheet that included the words to the birthday song and several simple phrases. I like to thank my room stewards in their own language and maybe add a please to let them know I appreciate what they do. Phrases that were included on the forum post included things like bathroom, my name is----, thank you, yes please. Could someone help me, I think I remember some but would hate to say something and have them look at me like I was crazy.
IslandThyme Posted June 11, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 11, 2019 Here's what I remember (not much) Thank you - terimah kasih Good morning - selamat pagi Good evening - selamat malam Good night - selamat tidur How are you - apa kabar Good, thanks - baik baik See you tomorrow - sampai jumpa besok And the birthday song is: Panjang umurnya, panjang umurnya panjang umurnya serta muliya Serta mulia, serta mulia It's not much, but it goes a long way on board.
