ErwinSchrodinger Posted June 16, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2019 Our cruise is scheduled to leave the Manhattan Terminal at 6:00 PM on Oct 11, and I was wondering about when the ship will pass the Statue of Liberty and the V-narrows bridge. I want to make dinner reservations, it happens to be our 39th wedding anniversary, but I sure don’ t want to miss that special sail away. Would 8:00 PM be late enough? I think that’s a good estimate - from several Manhattan sailaways, I recall just about two hours to the Verrazzano Narrows Bridge.
travelnap Posted June 16, 2019 #5 Share Posted June 16, 2019 I think you should be fine with a 6:00 sailaway and an 8:00 reservation. I have sailed out of Manhattan a couple of times and one time it was just over an hour from departure to sailing under the Verrazzano Narrows Bridge and the other time it was just under an hour and a half as we had more traffic on the river that day. It is a very enjoyable sailaway so I hope you enjoy your cruise and your anniversary.
