Joy concierge room

Looking for anyone who has stayed in the joy concierge  penthouse suite - the good, the bad and the ugly. Can you confirm room service privilege and also if both private breakfast and lunch offered. Any help and or tips most appreciated. Thanks!!!

I'm curious also... I'm noticing that they have changed the wording 😡 that states now that the room service charge did not apply to Suites. Now it states Haven guests. That is frustrating.

Breakfast and lunch is in La Cucina for concierge suites

EDIT:  My NCL app quit or crashed on my phone and when RE-opening, the verbiage did change to say only Haven guests. 

 

More than frustrating, it’s like bait and switch.  When I paid for my cruise it was advertised as in my screenshot below.   

 

It is little things like this that will cost them repeat business.

we did a CA to Alaska on Joy we did use room service for our early morning excursions, just cereal and fruit, there was no charge. Do you want to see a CA room? We had the special one, there are two that have amazing large balconies, because of the wedge shape on them, that is 14778 and 14178. We loved it enough to book the same room in April 2021

The breakfast and lunch was awesome at La Cucina, but the concierge we only used twice, once I called to get a lounge chair for the balcony, it was there in 10 minutes, and then I asked for a eggcrate mattress because the bed was on the hard side, it was on the bed that night, so service was very good but the room is the reason we booked it again, it's nice to have all that room!!!

We just booked 14778 for Mexican Riviera 12/29-1/6. Excited for this large balcony!

 

Any tips you may have for us are appreciated and we’ll be sure to take care of her for your April, 2021 Cruise 😉

We just booked the Joy for a 7 day Eastern Caribbean in Nov 2020.  We reserved 14778.  Thanks for the review.  We will have a large family reunion on this cruise.  I wanted a large suite without the Haven price.  My only concern is it seems to be close to the elevators and stairs.  How was the noise in the cabin from the foot traffic?

Thanks for photos of concierge family suite, we have booked it for Feb 14 2020.

For a pseudo suite and upscale price, the bathrooms in the concierge class are a real disappointment to me.  The tub/shower combo is not good.  I would expect this from a normal room, not a concierge room.

 

The rest of the room seems great and the perks are great too.
