sterling2 Posted June 19, 2019 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2019 Does anyone know who the ambassadors will be for the February 1 Hawaiian/Tahiti Cruise? Thanks!
skynight Posted June 19, 2019 #2 Share Posted June 19, 2019 Tiki Dave mentioned that he expected to be assigned to the Star for the 2019, 2020 season. Does Princess place ambassadors on the 28 day sailing?

royal65 Posted June 20, 2019 #6 Share Posted June 20, 2019 What are the ambassadors and what do they do?

"Elua" (Dave & Leialoha are the best IMHO). They teach ukulele (Dave), hula & crafts (Leialoha). Plus entertain all over the ship...playing instruments, singing, hula. And recently, the ambassadors are tasked with the enrichment lectures about Hawaii.
skynight Posted June 20, 2019 #8 Share Posted June 20, 2019 (edited) Tiki Dave will be on the Star, not the Emerald, in February 2020. The Emerald will probably have different ambassadors. The ambassador program includes uke and hula instruction with a show at the end. The show requires the 9 sea days to put together. Any program will me modified. There is also frequent onboard Hawaiian entertainment, and crafts. Can't understand why the ambassadors are not retained on board for the South Pacific voyage. Certainly the Polynesian culture thrives in the islands visited. I would like to mention that Dave is a highly talented musician. He performed a show in Explorer's Lounge called "Jukebox of Your Life." In this show he plays and sings popular songs from the 60's onward including some great beach guitar instrumentals. If you get a chance, don't pass it up. Tiki Dave's schedule can be found here: https://boards.cruisecritic.co.uk/topic/2640776-elua-schedule-2019-20/ Edited June 20, 2019 by skynight
