Hi,

The captain makes the decision but I just had a look at your cruise and I am thinking December 3rd and December 9th, the December 3rd night might be December 2nd  as you are all half day Half Moon captain might want his welcome aboard toast I am thinking that first half day sea day, so formal could be December 2nd, the December 9th is more of a for sure.

With a 10 night cruise it's likely to be 3 Gala nights.  Just my guess but I'd say 12/3, 12/6, and 12/9.

It's been several years since a 10-night itinerary had 3 gala nights.  Almost certainly, there will only be 2.  First is usually the first sea day, but if the itinerary starts with 2 sea days in a row my last experience is the gala night was the 2nd sea day.  The 2nd gala night will be the last sea day, unless that's the final night of the cruise....in that case, look for a night preceding that where you leave port a bit earlier than the other nights.
