Rare 2Ccruisers Posted July 1, 2019 #26 Share Posted July 1, 2019 Thank you SO MUCH for doing this!!! We are taking our 4 kids and 4 year old grandbaby on EOS in August and I have found very few reviews on her. So excited to follow along!
TravelGirlinDallas Posted July 1, 2019 #27 Share Posted July 1, 2019 Thanks for the review and pics! We have stayed at the Tremont for our anniversary before. My parents were on the Enchantment in May and I had been wishing there were more reviews for that ship when I was researching it for them!

Delicious!!! This is a great review, much more in depth than mine! Wish I had tried the Lamb! I thought our sailing ended up being a wonderful one. Great mixture of. Families/couples/younger/more mature! Thanks for following along with this review! 23 hours ago, LuCruise said: Great review do far. Thanks for all the details. You’re very welcome! I know some people don’t have the time to read detailed reports but this is how my brain works. 20 hours ago, RCCL Fan said: Thanks so much for doing this. I'm a fan of photo heavy, day by day reviews. Thank you! I have an upcoming cruise on Enchantment, and I'm super eager to hear your thoughts. Your are very welcome and I know you will love her! Don’t let the cosmetic things get you down. I thought the staff, food and drinks were top notch. 15 hours ago, perfect match said: Thanks for doing this review. I’m enjoying following along, and definitely enjoying your pictures! Thank you for the kind words! I love reading reviews and hope this is informative and enjoyable for those that love cruising like I do. And the pictures are making me hungry...and thirsty!
Lisalk12 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #29 Share Posted July 1, 2019 Day 2-Sea Day We woke early to go to breakfast in the MDR. This is open seating and they fill tables as you come in so you might be asked to sit with others. (Again amazing table mates). They offer a breakfast bar and a menu to chose from. The breakfast service is rather slow and the coffee isn’t very tasty. My husband had French toast and an omelet (not pictured) and I had GFDF French Toast and Pancakes. The toast was much better than the pancakes!
Lisalk12 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #30 Share Posted July 1, 2019 Room service is also available for breakfast. As well as the buffet. When our children sail with us we love the free breakfast options. We usually get milk and dry cereal for the baby to have later. We let The 17 & 13 year old and my husband sleep so I leave them pastries in the room. Then the baby and I can have a sit down breakfast. With TG it just being my husband and I we didn’t do room service this time but did get some photos of the menu.
Lisalk12 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #31 Share Posted July 1, 2019 After breakfast we went up to the solarium and enjoyed the view. Winston made us some morning cocktails! For those wondering the Bloody Mary mix is GF!
Lisalk12 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #32 Share Posted July 1, 2019 We enjoyed a cloudy day on the pool deck and waiter brought this to us. Not sure what it was but it was really good! We used the wifi to connect to emails, iPhone messages, Facebook, and the nanny camera. We had one package but if one of us logged off the other could log on. Lisalk12 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #33 Share Posted July 1, 2019 We went up and played some slots/blackjack. Neither one treated us very well on this trip. But we must be gluttons for punishment because we kept going back. The artwork on the floor walking into the casino got me every time! With or without drinks! We tried to have a slot pull with some friends we had made but getting everyone there was hard. Plus, the casino was have $2 mimosas. So it was busy! Lisalk12 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #34 Share Posted July 1, 2019 We made sure to go to the art auction to see if our guess the statues weight won. We didn’t! But we enjoy looking at the art (the one I liked was $50000 guess I have good taste and didn’t know it) but never bid. We do take the free art for attending that is handed out. I frame it and put it up as a reminder of our vacations. This time I guess we left out early and didn’t get the art. So we will have to go back during another auction. Lisalk12 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #35 Share Posted July 1, 2019 After donating again to the casino we decided we better go to the windjammer (by way of the centrum bar) and have a late lunch. This is where I enjoy NCL. They have food 24 hours a day. We found it hard to find where food would be available when we were hungry. We found a limited small offering in the buffet. (TheGF bar was closed). My husband plate has the stir fried rice. Mine is the salad.
Lisalk12 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #36 Share Posted July 1, 2019 My upload of the floor going into the casino failed. Let me try it again!
Lisalk12 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #37 Share Posted July 1, 2019 We went on to play our first game of bingo (note to self: the bobbers are for sell. Bring your own or keep the first ones you buy if you plan to play again) The game was in the Centrum and was packed! Here we had strawberry daiquiris. Lisalk12 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #38 Share Posted July 1, 2019 This is one of our favorite this to do! Plus I won every time!!!
Lisalk12 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #39 Share Posted July 1, 2019 Day 2 is the “formal” night for dinner. We decided to go take a nap then get dressed. I really had worried and even got a cocktail dress for the evening. In the last minute I choose to be more comfortable and put on a little black dress and heels. My husband wore a button down shirt and khaki slacks. We were not the dressiest but also not the most casual. Go with what you feel the best in and enjoy. Lisalk12 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #40 Share Posted July 1, 2019 For dinner my husband had: Beef (my husband asked for no mushrooms and it still had them. That is why the plate looks so messy he moved them off the plate) and carrot cake I had the shrimp cocktail, cod, and a GF DF peach shortcake. (It was good!!) Lisalk12 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #41 Share Posted July 1, 2019 During the dinner service we were entertained by our waitstaff! Loved this so much!! 6F82BA24-1A9C-4C3C-9261-F90BFB9FB596.MOV ACB1625E-0B71-4D83-A3A8-3BE12921B4E7.MOV
Lisalk12 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #42 Share Posted July 1, 2019 After dinner we went to Bolero and had wine while the listening to karaoke. We witnessed an epic performance of “Baby Got Back”. I will never see a better performance ever!!! After we stepped in the back of the theater to watch a couple of the production numbers. The performers were good singers and dancers. I liken it to a Branson style show. We decided to explore the ship and found the Spotlight lounge. It was empty and I wonder why they don’t use it for more activities. Lisalk12 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #43 Share Posted July 1, 2019 We ended the night in the Schooner Bar. We listened to some amazing music and enjoyed a crown and coke and a GF beer (this was the only bar I could find this brand)
Lisalk12 Posted July 1, 2019 Author #44 Share Posted July 1, 2019 Every night they show a movie up on the pool deck. I can see my boys loving to watch these. Not sure which one this was but I snapped this picture walking back to the room.

jimmyjam1973 Posted July 2, 2019 #49 Share Posted July 2, 2019 How's the AC on the ship. Heard it's been sketchy. We sail on Enchantment on Monday.

Hi neighbor (I live in Cibolo 😁) Other than the windjammer being a bit on the warm side (i'm sure due to all of the people), we didn't have any issues with the AC on the ship.
