One drinks alcohol, and one does not

I’ve never purchased the drink package, but am interested in doing so for our September cruise. 

I have read that both people in the cabin need to buy one. What happens if one person does not consume alcohol? Can I still buy the package?

If the other party does not drink alcohol for medical reasons and you can get the appropriate document, then you will be able to buy the package for just yourself as I understand it.

 

Otherwise, to have it, you would need to purchase the package for 2 people which would most  likely not be worthwhile unless your partner drinks a lot of water, soda, specialty coffees and/or mocktails.  (Non alcoholic drinks are included in the package).
