We are leaving tomorrow on the Breeze & I realized that my travel agent left my husbands VIFP# number off the reservation.  I called Carnival and they are saying there is nothing they can do about it because it was booked via a travel agent.  This doesn’t sound right.

When you get back, just submit the booking number, cruise dates, and your husband's info to the email for the VIFP site. They will credit his account with the points. Don't worry about it and enjoy your cruise!

That is correct. Since you booked with a TA they need to call Carnival with any changes.

 

You can go to guest services once on the ship
