Celebrity Summit Evacuates girl from ship

They just evacuated a little girl, mom and the doctor from the Celebrity Summit cruise ship. The little girl had severe abdominal pains and the coast guard lifted them off the ship viva the basket operation. Everything went well and they are now at the hospital. 

 

The crew did a great job getting them off the ship. It’s quite a process and a lot of antennas, poles and devices need to be moved before the helicopter can hover over the ship.

Maybe she was suffering from appendicitis, it's good that she's already in the hospital.

They don't mess about. On an Eclipse Baltic cruise we were on a military helicopter landed on the ship to evacuate a gentleman suffering from  heart problems. Three days later the cruise director announced that he was recovering and doing well. It's good to see and hear they're prepared for these kind of issues.
