Where to stay

We are flying in the night before our cruise and looking for a recommended place to stay that isn't expensive.  We won't be arriving at the hotel until like 10pm and will be leaving in the morning and heading to the ship so we don't need anything more than a place to shower and sleep - but in a safe area and a hotel that is clean!  Can anyone recommend places to look into.  Im hoping to find a hotel that doesn't have a resort fee since we won't really be using the hotel for much.

We stayed at El Canaria by the lagoon last year & are staying again next January for $111 (it was a special on their Facebook page). It’s in the Condado area with lots of restaurants & a couple of blocks to the ocean, Walgreens & CVS. Easy to get around & a safe neighborhood- they even have breakfast in the morning.
