Cruiser-66 Posted July 29, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 29, 2019 Thinking of booking cabin M428 on the Regal. When a did a mock booking it says this cabin balcony can’t be opened because it’s an angled balcony. Does anyone know if that’s the case? Princess TA says she doesn’t have anything saying that. It would be a disappointment as we are traveling with friends and like to share our balcony.
Rare Jeter02 Posted July 29, 2019 #2 Share Posted July 29, 2019 As others mentioned you can do as you please. However on the doors a little sticker by the handle mentioning that due to high winds and being so high up on deck 15, it states that its best not to be out there. When the ship is sailing. As always, use per your discretion
Steelers36 Posted July 29, 2019 #3 Share Posted July 29, 2019 Makes no sense to me as the angle is not even forward into the wind. Are you sure you aren't seeing a note about not being able to open the connecting panel to the next balcony?
jasbo49 Posted July 29, 2019 #4 Share Posted July 29, 2019 Are you sure you're reading it right? The only caution I see is that 428 doesn't connect with 424. Jim
skynight Posted July 29, 2019 #5 Share Posted July 29, 2019 Yes this is correct. the balcony divider can not be opened between M428 and M424. Here is the information from the deck plan. Stateroom Number: M428 Type: Mini-Suite Category: MB Location: Midship Deck: 15 (Marina) Bath Type: Shower/tub Connecting Room: N/A Total Size: 319 sq. ft. Special Notes: EXTENDED ANGLED BALCBALC CANNOT CONNECT WITH M424 BALC
Cruiser-66 Posted July 29, 2019 Author #6 Share Posted July 29, 2019 Our friends would be in M424, so this would not work for us. I guess I didn’t make my post clear enough. That’s too bad because the two larger balconies would have been nice!
