YC Cabanas on Ocean Cay - Available to Purchase

Just wanted to let you all know that have been waiting, I was just able to call up my February 2020 reservation and see that the

YC Cabanas on Ocean Cay are available to purchase.

$399 for Ocean View

$449 for Beach Front

Just purchased one for Ocean Front for February 22, 2020 sailing.

What is Ocean Front? Ocean View or Beach Front?

I am guessing that Ocean View is further away from the water but you can still see the water.
I would guess that Ocean Front is closer to the water.

I guess we really won't know until we see pictures but that is my guess.

I wasn't inquiring as too how the Cabana were situated, more interested in the type of Cabana that you have booked.

 

You stated:

$399 for Ocean View

$449 for Beach Front

 

Then say you booked an Ocean Front. So which one the listed priced Cabana have you booked.

I see they are charging us more for YC than the other cabanas. I hope it's not to pay for the food and drinks.  Interesting.

It's only on Ocean Cay for one day.  On the ship you pay by day as well, unless you are in a Royal Suite.

Hi. It said lunch but didn't say alcohol beverages but we can drink for free, correct, if in YC?

These are still less than the Disney Castaway Cay cabanas and I believe we paid the same/more for our NCL cabana (which was beautiful). On NCL, we still had to pay for our food/drink.

Interesting!  Just saw on another site that can't be named:  The YC cabanas are going fact, but they are available to rent by anyone, not just YC.  Kind of lowers the value a bit.

Saw that on the "Book" too. I also noticed that the YC Beach Front Cabana for my sailing is no longer listed, just the Ocean View, so thinking the Beach Front is now sold out?
I also read on the "Book" that there were only eight total.

It will probably change around quite a few times between now and when we board on 2/22!

The description says max of six, but it looks like you might not many over four.  Only four sets of snorkeling gear are listed, for example, and I think only two floating mats, etc. 

 

As for being in the YC area, we may not know until we get closer to when they open that area.  We just know it won't be open in November.

I looks like they are selling the "YC experience" to anyone willing to buy it......Our cruise isn't until March 20 so we'll just chill until MSC decides how they will deal with YC passengers.  Any pictures ????

from my current booking on Feb 29, 2020:

 

Looks like there are cabanas available to regular guests as well as YC members.  Note that the YC cabanas are exclusively for YC guests, so that should alleviate some worries.  Even if non-YC members can see the availability, I don't think they'll be able to book, and if they can, they'll most certainly be canceled and refunded as soon as MSC realizes what's going on.
