Epic deck loungers

Hi everybody. 

This is my first ever post on the Norwegian boards. 🙂

I am thinking about booking a cruise for next March, and if I do, it'll be a solo studio. I will want to spend as little time in the stateroom as I can. I saw a video review on YouTube that stated that the deck personnel stack 100% of the deck loungers in the evening, making them of course unavailable to use. Does anyone know, is this actually the case? I'd hoped to chill on the deck in the evening after dinner, at least a couple times. Thanks cruisers. 😁

Yes. Loungers are stacked nightly so they can wash and clean the deck. There are lots of indoor public areas where you can chill at night.

Yes, they stack them every evening so they can wash down the decks, etc.  Plenty of places to chill without having to use a lounge chair!

The loungers get stacked but there is other seating available if you want to sit outside at night.

If you are on deck and want to use a lunger, just take one off the stack.  You could even ask one of the crew members to get one for you, they are very accommodating

Even with having a balcony we liked to spend time outside elsewhere on the ship after dinner. We found the outdoor buffet seating area to be the best option on the Epic. This was late October in the Med and the 50F temperature was just perfect for me!

Thank you, everybody, for answering my question. Seems the tumblers are falling into place for booking the sailing I mentioned. It'll be my first cruise on NCL, my first 10 nighter, and most urgently, my first cruise in over 5 years!! 😁
