which port does Norwegian use in San Juan

We are sailing with Norwegian Epic in Dec. which port does Norwegian use in San Juan? I want to find a hotel close the port.

NCL uses the Pan American Pier -- so not in Old San Juan. There are hotels close, but don't feel as if you need to stay in that area. 

 

We stayed in Condado with tons of restaurants/stores steps away from our hotel and we were able to walk on the beach before we went to the ship. It was a short cab ride to the pier. 

 

We stayed at the Best Western Condado this year and are staying there again next year. Basic hotel (very clean) with a great location. It was also very reasonably priced.

This is correct for embarkation and debarkation. If it is a port call they try to use Old San Juan.

There are some hotels near the Pan Am Pier but we took a taxi from El Convento in OSJ. I don’t recall the fare but it was not too expensive. Enjoy your cruise.

We stayed in Old San Juan for the night before, and had a great time with the multiple bars and places to eat.  The cab/shared shuttle ride from OSJ to the pier is a fixed price, cant' remember how much exactly.  (Cabs from the airport to the pier, or to anywhere nearby is a fixed rate depending on distance to the location)
