What is the best rental car to book from Port of Miami to take to sawgrass mills for the day and return to airport for an 8:30pm flight?

Best as in which company to get right from the port where the car can be returned right at the airport

There aren't car rentals right at the port. Closest ones would be AVIS/ Budget downtown. $10 cab drive away.

Or take the free Alamo/Hertz/National shuttle to Miami International Airport, pick up and return your card there.

The downtown locations sometimes are overwhelmed by the cruisers, leading to delays even if you have a reservation.  IMHO you are better off renting from the airport location.. If you get a good deal from someone else at MIA an UberX will be under $20 or a taxi will run $27+ tip.
