I'm guessing from your location and time you posted that you are from the UK and maybe going on the Anthem over the summer like ourselves. Quantum is a class of ship that includes the Anthem.

 

I've had a look of a marked up plan that someone posted (sorry don't know how to post here) and it looks like 6580 will have the top of a boat but no metal structure in front of your balcony.

 

The best thing about the restricted view deck 6 is it is so close to everything happening on deck 4 and 5.

I noticed in one of your previous post you had cabin 6664. Do you have any pictures of the room? Can you please tell me the good, bad and ugly of the room?  Thank you

Did you mean 6654?  That is the one we stayed in and I might have a pic.

It was a wider room but shorter - overall more square.

Yes we were in 6664, the room was great. The best part about deck 6 is that it is so convenient to get to the room from the Esplenade and it was a short walk down the corridor to a door that go you into the upstairs of 270.

 

We had no issue with the obstructed view, stood up you could see the sea below, sat down you could look out at a distance. We heard no noise from the promenade deck below.

 

We have stayed again on deck 6 (can’t recall the number for that one) as the saving in cost and convenience for deck 5 is a winner for us.
