Any one have information on the above cabin on the Eclipse?  We were assigned to the cabin, not our first choice.  Good, bad, noise level?  Would appreciate any info so we will know what to plan for on our November 2019 cruise.

A week ago we were on the Eclipse in a cabin on deck ten just below 1657.  Our room was very quiet.  Looks like there are cabins above this room as well, usually meaning quiet above.  When walking toward the aft from the rear elevators, it was much noisier about half way back.   A side benefit with a room that far back is the extra exercise you get from a longer walk.  Remember the general statement: "food in back & entertainment in front".  So you are stairs or an elevator ride away from the buffet  or the dining rooms.  You will love the Eclipse.  Have fun.:classic_biggrin:

Hi

At the top of the page there is cabin information on M & S class ships , just had a quick look and there is nothing for Eclipse specifically but some has been in the cabin on Solstice. Apart from the walk mentioned in previous post they said it is quiet.

The room should be quiet. There is a sense of privacy in that location.  As mentioned, it is a longer walk to the elevators and stairs from that there. That could be a factor if one has physical challenges.   Also,  you can feel  some motion  in rough seas from being that far back versus being  more  in the middle of the ship.

You probably don’t realize it, but you have chosen to post in a font (probably Comic Sans) that is incompatible with mobile devices and shows up on phones and tablets as virtually impossible to read thin, cursive.  Just about everyone who was using that font and has learned about that problem (they were on desktops and couldn’t see the issue) has of course chosen to use a different font (the default font is fine); I hope you will too. Thanks.
