Would anyone recommend using the duty free at the Marina Bay Port to pick up our "free" bottle of wine for our cruise . What are wine prices like in Singapore?

For Singapore, you will want to download the app named Grab on your smartphone.  You can then book taxis or private vans and pay with credit card or cash.  Taxis in Singapore typically seat 4 people and have a large trunk.  But for 5 adults you will need 2 taxis or alternatively book a Grab 6 seater .  Usually the Grab 6 seater premium is a big van.  I have a large family and with friends sometimes we even book the Grab 9 van, which is like a shuttle used for morning commuters.
