waltocruiser Posted September 16, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 16, 2019 Does anyone know why the embarkation in LA has been pushed back to starting at 4:30 pm, with a new sailing time of 8pm originally 4 pm. Additionally we were informed that the terminal will not open prior to the first (4:30) embarkation time. We were just notified via email at 4:15. This throws a real wrench into everyone’s transportations needs, not to mention what happens to dinner on the first night? starting to remember why we stoped cruising Princess some years ago. CruiserBruce Posted September 16, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 16, 2019 First of all, the best place to ask this is the Princess board, here: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/forum/119-princess-cruises/ Where it maybe discussed already. Is this in the next couple of days? There is this thread, here: That might be related. Knowing cruise lines make money the minute you get on board, I am sure they aren't doing it to somehow personally deprive you of your cruise experience. I am sure the reason is serious enough to warrant such a delay. I am sure they will still feed you...one way or another, and you won't lose any weight on your cruise.
1025cruise Posted September 16, 2019 #3 Share Posted September 16, 2019 All ships have had to slow down along the West coast because of whales I believe, delaying them.
