I called Hals online check in phone number and they put the credit card info in for me ,had the same problem, I thought it was something I was doing wrong, I guess not! My check in is now complete. Hope this helps.

UPDATE 

 

I was able to get my credit card info to save and register a credit card to my account last night (9/24).  I did get the 15 minute warning pop up when I started to enter a card, but it looks like HAL fixed the timeout issue that was preventing card deets from actually being saved.

They take your credit card information at check-in before you board.

I have not had problems with check-in but the booking pages are awful.  I can’t even begin to explain that as it makes no sense.
