Is there Cell Phone Service on Half Moon ?

I have an important family call I need to skype or at least make a voice call on the day we are at Half Moon.  I do not want to buy the ship internet.  Is there Tmobile or Verizon or other cell service on Half Moon?  TIA

Is this a for sure?  or a probably.  (2 years ago I posted a question about being able to see the shore on a med cruise and several people said no or probably not and guess what- yes you could!) I saw other posts about cell service on other private islands and people were like " probably not" and my thought was " unless you absolutely know either way, dont post."  So, if you tried recently, Ill go with the 36,000 post answerman as for sure.  Anyone have any different experience?

Well, excuse me...There was no cell phone service when I was last there. If there was, it is still going to be an international call for you.

Must be a brand new cell phone tower right within sight of the ship.  Strong enough signal to skype.

What cell phone provider do you use and did you get an international plan that includes Bahamas so not to have an enormous bill?  We're going there next year so this would be helpful for us to know in case we need it.

My wife has t mobile which includes over 100 countries and I have Verizon which has a $10 per day travel pass.  Both worked aweeome here

TMobile and Google Fi are excellent for international, FYI.

There has been good service there for years.  I am canadian and it is one of my international destinations that I pay 12$ for the day to use service on my existing plan
