FarreyFamCruzin Posted September 29, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 29, 2019 We will be in Roatan on Sunday in January and there are very few ship excursions being sold by NCL. We were thinking of doing a Rony’s Tour, but are seeing that many popular places (Daniel Johnson’s, Rum Factory, etc) are closed on Sundays. Other than a beach day and zip lines, what would you recommend a family with kids to do on Roatan?
Rare crewsweeper Posted September 30, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 30, 2019 I would contact Rony and ask. I think the new craft beer brewery is open. There could be some offshore snorkeling. If one of the excursions on NCL is for or includes Gumbalinda Park, that would be a good stop, the park is open on Sunday.
evandbob Posted October 1, 2019 #3 Share Posted October 1, 2019 Little French Key is a nice place to visit on a Sunday, we went there twice while we staying in Infinity Bay Hotel. They have animals, birds, snorkeling, lunch, beach, diving or jumping platforms, and with no or just one ship in port, it's quite comfortable. We arranged a pickup from our hotel to their place, perhaps they'll do the same from your cruise port (Coxen's Hole)? https://www.littlefrenchkey.com/
Guest 2000 Posted October 1, 2019 #4 Share Posted October 1, 2019 (edited) Ya might want to have a look at this before supporting Little French Key. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g292019-i4482-k12918755-Little_French_key_and_sloths-Roatan_Bay_Islands.html Edited October 1, 2019 by Guest 2000
#1TravelMom Posted October 9, 2019 #5 Share Posted October 9, 2019 We love Rony. Zipline and West Bay would be a perfect day!
