FLL to hotel to POM

Does anyone know if there is a hotel that offers a free shuttle from FLL and also to the Port of Miami?

 

Flying in to FFL, spending one night and then cruising out of POM.

 

Is there such a place?

It is a 30-40+ minute drive from the FLL area to POM. Any hotel offering this will just bundle the cost into an inflated room rate.  You are better off finding a hotel that meets your needs and budget and then arrange your own transportation.

 

www.sunny.org has lots of FLL area hotel and tourist info.  Shared shuttles between the FLL area and POM is about $15 per person, or you can use UberX or Lyft for about $35+ for the car.

You could also check SAS shuttle  they pick up at certain hotels to go to POM

Probably good advice.  If it is 40 minutes I was thinking a hotel 20 minutes from each.  This may be asking too much and might be built in to the price but sometimes someone knows of a gem and it doesn't hurt to ask.

 

I have stumbled across some too good to be true situations in the past and you never know.

If you are arriving late your best bet is to stay near FLL - lots of nearby hotels with shuttles, and then make your way tot heport in the morning.  If you are arriving earlier in the day and want to see something of Miami then I would head straight to a downtown hotel.  Hollywood is sort of in the middle, but you will be limiting your transportation options -- lots of shared shuttles from the FLL area to POM, otherwise you are looking at Uber/Lyft and taxis.

You could just stay by Port Miami too. Price out options by FLL and by Port Miami. You are going to need to do the drive to Miami regardless, its 30-40mins nothing crazy. So you can do it when you arrive and stay near Port Miami or do it the next day. 

 

There are no hotels that offer FLL - Port Miami shuttles that I am aware of. Your options are a shuttle service like SLS or just Uber/Lyft over. Pricing is around the same. Hotels near Port Miami sometimes offer a shuttle for a fee or you can just hope in an Uber/Lyft. It is a very short and cheap ride.
