Prepaid gratuity question

First time sailing Princess and we have selected anytime dining. Does Princess force you to prepay gatuitities when you have selected anytime dining? 

 

If not, how do you pay gratuities once on board (is it the same price as the prepaid gratuity option)?

Your daily gratuity is added to your on board account.  Everyday you will see the price added and at the end of cruise the total gratuities will be added.  If you have on board credit; your daily gratuity is deducted from that.

No, Princess does NOT force you to prepay grats.

 

Gratuities are charged to your account, and if you registered your credit card for your account, they will get charged to it at the end of the cruise. Or you settle your account in cash at the end of the cruise.
