Norwegian are still leasing aircraft to cover some of the 787 flights. Three of the last four days LGW-MIA it has been operated by a leased 777.

AFAIK, you will receive notification if it but there is a 777 that us basically shuttling back and forth on this route.

Hello 🙂

Thank you got the info

Our flight in May was 3rd May. On 24/4 they advised it was now Hi-Fly A340-300

I am not up to speed with planes ✈️ Would a 777 be like BA/Virgin use? And 3/4/3 do you know?  My main concern is there is good choice of entertainment

Appreciate anything you know

Thank you 😊

Virgin Atlantic don't have any 777s but BA have dozens. Aircraft itself isn't *that* important to Joe Public, it's how it's configured. Don't know about Privilege Style apart from this lengthy thread on TripAdvisor.

I wouldn't rely upon ACMI aircraft having good entertainment. Buy an iPad or tablet, load it with films and you're good to go.

Hello

booked last minute break

Norweigen air are cheapest direct to Miami

has anyone used recently where they have changed from Dreamliner to a leased plane? Or has it been sorted now?

we had this in May

thank you 😊

The last information I saw on leased planes was here:

https://www.routesonline.com/news/38/airlineroute/284082/norwegian-schedules-leased-aircraft-service-for-london-gatwick-in-s19/

The linked story says nothing about Miami, but seems to contradict your May experience.  Let us know what happens regardless of whether it is good or bad.
