Triciapcp33 Posted October 27, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2019 My husband surprised me and upgraded us to a Haven forward suite. Very excited! but I have a few questions. I know we get special boarding. We are traveling with my parents who are in their 70’s. Would they be allowed to check in with us? Can they come to the haven bar or dinning room if we pay extra for that night? would they allow us to take them and let them look around say if it was a port day and not many people on the haven area? SlipperyVic Posted October 27, 2019 #2 Share Posted October 27, 2019 Unfortunately the answer to all three of your questions is no.

Rare BirdTravels Posted October 27, 2019 #4 Share Posted October 27, 2019 Just take your parents to the Haven checkin and ask them to help. The biggest problem is that their room keys are NOT at the Haven check in. They may say “no” and you may have to walk them over to their proper check in area. They can not enjoy the Haven bar or lounge. You can show them the Haven, just don’t make a big deal about it. You can take them to the Haven Restaurant for a fee (close your eyes and just pay the fee). Your Room is nowhere near the Haven. Your parents can come and visit any time. You’ll have a separate living room for them to sit in. Your butler can serve group meals in your room (even ordering off the Haven Restaurant menu). However the table is tiny. brookie848 Posted October 27, 2019 #5 Share Posted October 27, 2019 If you do want your parents to eat with you in the Haven, you need to clear it with the concierge first (along with paying the fee).
Shidah Posted October 27, 2019 #6 Share Posted October 27, 2019 And if the concierge clears them eating with you on one occasion do dinner, not lunch. I had guests join me for lunch, and the cost was 30 per person versus I think 35 for dinner. For 5 bucks more, dinner is much nicer in my opinion.
