Viking OBC Promotions

Does Viking offer OBCs for:

• AMEX Platinum or other credit card (as Oceania, Regent, Princess, etc. do)?
•  Military (veterans, retirees or active duty)?
• first Responders?
• Other?

To my knowledge Viking OBC is given by Viking as part of a promotion when you book your cruise (frequently done if you book a cruise while you’re on a cruise) or your travel agent may add OBC to your booking (a “gift” from them). I’m not familiar with OBC from specific credit cards or affiliations.

Viking does lots of things differently.

They do encourage folks to book with TAs who may (some don't) offer OBC up to limits based on # of cruise nights.
I booked a cruise onboard Viking Ocean and the Viking person referred me to a TA for OBC $.

Viking gave us OBC instead of the drinks package after I'd asked for it to be included in the price of the cruise.
